Collection: B Model

Having been in around the longboard scene in San Diego/ SO Cal my entire career I’ve been fortunate to see all sorts of models and designs from all of the legends of the sport. Yet one design still stands out as the most progressive yet: the 9’6 Braden noserider. In 2008 Skip and I did a board exchange, I bult him a 7’11 Fish Simmons Quad and he shaped me this crazy foiled, hard edge, full bottom concave longboard for my club comps. It was the most future forward-looking longboard I had ever seen. The model name doesn’t do the board design any justice yet this board changed my surfing career forever. The B model is my take on this. Picture a long board outline with rails and bottom contours of the big boards (up, neutral, down with edge, and the single concave into double barrel vee, flat off the tail). The B model features an entry concave to the normal single into double barrel vee. Pure speed and trim with mach-5 nose rides is how I describe the ride of this model. Then with the accentuated vee panel you can lay the board on rail thru turns or classic drop knee turns. It something that excited me so much to continue to develop. There are multiple other models I’ve applied this design to as well. Stay tuned.
