The Glory of the Glide

“The Glory of the Glide” is a short documentary film exploring the history and imagining the future of the San Diego big board movement. It first screened and won an "official selection" at the San Diego Surf Film Festival in La Jolla, California. The film features an all-star cast: Skip Frye, Josh Hall, Devon Howard, Jen Smith, and Erin Ashley. We shot this film in Pacific Beach, in the very cradle of the San Diego Big Board Movement. The film was distributed by Blue Mag/Japan. After the release, we held screenings in Ventura and San Diego.
