WINTER SKOSH
The Winter Skosh was created as a modern alternative for the midlength surfer. While I personally prefer this model as a 7’10”—to ride in bigger winter surf—its outline can be adapted to nearly any length conceivable. Some of my more shortboard orientated customers like this board because its contemporary outline curve turns this model into a semi-modern shortboard. The Winter Skosh is the narrowest, gunniest plan shape I offer.

GLASSING SCHEDULE: 6 oz. + 6 oz. deck, 6 oz. bottom.
FINS: Twin, Tri, or Quads: glass-ons, FCS or Futures.
ROCKER: Contemporary, progressive entry and relaxed through tail.
RAIL: A fuller, down rail in the tail with slightly rolled entry.
BOTTOM CONTOURS: Slight single to a light double barrel then flat off the tail.
TYPE OF WAVES: Any type of break, usually powerful chest high surf to a few feet overhead is best.
